That’s the clever part of our design. When closed, the moving lid seals the food completely, leaving no gaps for sneaky paws. When open, the lid itself becomes part of a protective barrier, working together with the other three sides to block access. This way, pets can’t slip in from the back, sides, or front to steal food.
In our current testing, the feeder opens in about 2.5 seconds and closes in under 2 seconds. Fast enough to keep mealtime smooth and secure, while still ensuring safety for your pets.
Yes! The feeder is powered by a 2600mAh rechargeable battery. With a single charge, it can run for up to 6 months—so you don’t have to worry about constantly changing batteries.
The feeder supports standard implanted microchips, such as those available from 24PetWatch. These chips use the FDX-B format and comply with ISO 11784/11785 standards. Typical chip size is 2x12mm—smaller chips in the same format may reduce the reading distance.
If an implanted chip isn’t available or compatible, you can also use the included RFID collar tag, giving you flexibility and convenience.
This version does not include an automatic feeder. But don’t worry—we’re developing one!
The current version cannot completely prevent other cats from trying to access the food—this is a limitation shared by almost all microchip feeders on the market.
However, we are developing an optional accessory that can block other cats at the door, ensuring each pet eats safely. This accessory will be offered at a very reasonable price, since not every pet parent needs it. By keeping it optional, we avoid wasting resources while still providing a solution for those who want it.
Yes! The moving lid is extremely durable, made from 3mm thick transparent PC material with a symmetrical design. Even the most determined pets will find it very difficult to damage.
Absolutely not. If a fast or playful pet happens to block the moving lid, the feeder stops immediately. The motor detects the resistance and halts operation almost instantly.
The force required to trigger this safety feature is very low, so you never need to worry about your pet getting pinched.
Absolutely! The feeder is designed to be super quiet. We use a friction-wheel mechanism, so pets only hear a very soft motor sound.
Additionally, with a bit of gradual training, even shy cats can comfortably get used to the feeder, making mealtime stress-free for both pets and owners.
The ears and foot stands are optional accessories, since not every pet parent needs them. That’s why they’re offered in the Add-ons section.
